About Mesclun

We are a mesclun of people, flavors, and experiences.

We are a chef-led company founded by Chef Katrina Kuhn-Alcantara, a Filipino-Swiss chef and Le Cordon Bleu Paris alumna with over two decades of culinary leadership experience in catering, restaurants, and hotel F&B operations.

At Mesclun, we are inspired by the moments that matter — the ones you remember because they felt organic and meaningful. Our food leans into elevated comfort food — familiar but not ordinary.

And perhaps the greatest perk of the job: we’re honored to be part of our clients’ life stories — witnessing weddings, birthdays, baptisms, and life’s milestones through the food we serve.

Sustainability

We recognize that meaningful change happens incrementally, and we’re committed to growing responsibly, one plate at a time.

Our sustainability practices are always evolving, but we’ve already taken steps to operate more mindfully. We compost egg shells, coffee grounds, and vegetable scraps. We’ve started a garden where we grow herbs, lettuce, and select produce used in our dishes. We choose eco-friendly packaging whenever possible, support local farmers, and reuse or recycle materials whenever possible.

It’s a work in progress — and we’re always learning how to do better.
