A Night of Artisanal Cheeses

This August 17, Thursday, Aruga Cafe by Mesclun is kicking off its Rockwell Cheese Night. Flying in from France, suppliers Sommelier Selection, Chef Selection and Beillevaire are bringing in the cheeses and wine. Slots are limited.

Here are some of the highlights of this once-a-month-only event:

1. Cheeses you won’t find anywhere else

The featured cheeses are flown in from France and are not available locally. Drop by this Thursday and you save on having to buy a round trip ticket to France, your Schengen visa, and additional luggage allowance. Some of the cheeses to be featured are crottin de chavignol, soumaintrain, roche montagne and tommette amour.

2. The Rockwell scene
The Rockwell community has a unique vibe that is not like other scenes. The several establishments have their own ways of attracting people with different backgrounds. Feel like winding down on a Wednesday night for free flowing wine, beers and cocktails? There’s a place is just for you. Need a place with a relaxed vibe while enjoying the cheese buffet and wine? Aruga Cafe by Mesclun is just the place.

3. Chef Katrina Kuhn-Alcantara
If you missed Chef Kat from the regular wine and cheese nights of the Cheese Club of the Philippines in the Polo Club, Rockwell Cheese Night is a nice throwback to those evenings well spent with good wine, good cheese and good company.

(Check out Bride and Breakfast’s feature on Chef Kat’s wine and cheese pairing tips.)

Reserve your slots today by emailing info@mesclun.ph or visiting www.tinyurl.com/RockwellCheeseNight.
